Storms cause road closures in Southern California
Severe storms have brought torrential rain and road closures to many parts of Southern California.
In some areas three inches of rain fell in just 30 minutes, bringing flash flooding and mudslides that closed parts of one of the state’s busiest highway, the 5, north of Los Angeles, as well as several roads in Death Valley. People had to be rescued from their vehicles though there were no reports of any injuries. The storms are expected to continue into the weekend. Read more: weather.com
