Moscow’s old Stanislavsky Drama Theatre, founded in 1935 by famous Russian actor and director Konstantin Stanislavsky, closed this week. At the same time, the new Stanislavsky Electrotheater opened on Tverskaya Street near Pushkin Square, after 18 months of preparation. The current season, which will feature five more plays, will end in the summer. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
