Spies claim Kim Jong-un’s disappearance due to ankle surgery

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s recent 40-day disappearance from the public eye may have been a recovery period after ankle surgery. After Kim's reappearance this month, South Korea’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) has revealed Kim had a cyst or tumour on his ankle, which had apparently been removed. Read more: wsj.com
