Special tourist police planned for Ho Chi Minh City
As part of a push to better protect visitors and crack down on crime, authorities in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City plan to establish a special police unit to focus on tourists.
At a conference on Tuesday, the deputy director of the HCMC tourism department reported that diplomats have expressed concern over the number of robberies involving foreign visitors in the city.
