Two metal-like orbs that are believed to have fallen out of the sky were discovered in northern Vietnam at the weekend.
A local witness reported hearing a sound like thunder, despite a clear sky, and later one of the ‘space balls’ – measuring about 80cm in diameter – was found near a stream in Tuyen Quang Province. A second ball – measuring 27cm in diameter – was found in Yen Bai Province. Authorities have reportedly confirmed that the balls are not explosives.
