Southwest Airlines, the major US airline, announced a new partnership with Beats Music on Monday that will mean passengers will be able to stream Beats playlists freely on their personal devices in-flight. The budget airline does not currently have entertainment screens on its aircraft but instead offers free streaming of on-demand movies and live TV to its passengers' own iPads and other devices. With the Beats service, passengers will need to state their musical preferences, amongst other details, to access a curated Beats playlist which they can listen to for free. Read more: usatoday.com
