Previously known as a purely domestic carrier, Southwest Airlines has announced plans to expand its growing list of international destinations to include Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. The daily flights will leave from Orange County in California, starting in June next year, and will mean Southwest will be flying to nine non-US locations, including another three Mexican ones (Mexico City; Los Cabos and Cancun).
