A hot and dry summer has already begun in parts of South Australia prompting authorities to bring in the official fire danger season two weeks ahead of schedule. No fires can be lit outdoors without special permission. The season will start on 15 October in the Flinders district, 20 October in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula and West Coast and on 1 November in the Mid North. Read more: news.com.au
