Snake on a plane..for real! Deadly adder found on Dubai plane

Airport staff discovered an African puff adder on board a Dubai plane, during a routine pest control inspection.

The adder is one of Africa’s deadliest snakes, responsible for the highest number of snake bite deaths on the continent. Fortunately it was found in the cargo on the flight before biting anyone, as experts said there is no anti-venom for this snake held in the region. This is the first time that the species has been found in Dubai, but reports say it’s not uncommon for unwanted creatures to find their way onto planes and arrive in the UAE. Read more: arabiya.net
