A single-engine aircraft made an emergency landing onto Interstate 84 after experiencing an engine failure near Boise, Idaho.
Pilot Jon M. Brinkerhoff was on his way to Boise Airport when he experienced engine troubles. He told a radio dispatcher that he was making an emergency landing on the freeway. The pilot was unable to get the landing gear to work properly, but escaped the crash landing uninjured. A handful of drivers called 911 to report the event.
