Six pairs of baby giant panda twins meet the public

Twelve baby giant pandas were debuted to the public on Tuesday in the Sichuan province of China in what was an unexpected glut of cuteness.

The baby pandas range in ages from one to four months old and were born in captivity in the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The public were asked to come and see them and help pick the pandas' names.Twin births accounted for 90% of births among pandas this year compared to 50% of previous years, according to the BBC.
