Singapore to close main road for mass yoga class

More than 1000 participants are expected to roll out their yoga mats on Orchard Road on Saturday evening for Yoga Beat, the main event at Singapore’s second Pedestrian Night. Designed to inject more buzz into Singapore’s shopping belt, the event sees the section of Orchard Road between shopping centres Ion Orchard to Ngee Ann City closed to traffic from 6pm to 11pm on the first Saturday night of each month.
