Shanghai eyes up super-modern, see-through hanging monorail system

Plans for a hanging, glass monorail system have been displayed in Shanghai. A model of the see-through suspension railway, was unveiled at the China International Industry Fair this week, showed a glass train carriage hanging from a suspension pod. The railway would purportedly be automated and run on electricity, running up to 50 kilometres per hour and emitting very little noise. Read more: shanghaiist.com
