Second foreigner killed by IS in Bangladesh
A Japanese agriculturalist has become the second foreigner to be killed by militants in Bangladesh in the last week.
The attack happened in the northern town of Kaunia, and a group claiming to be allied to the Middle Eastern Islamic State group has claimed responsibility. An Italian man was shot dead in similar attack in Dhaka last week, raising fears of a deliberate campaign against foreign visitors to the country. Bangladesh has faced increasing violence from Islamist groups in recent months, and foreign governments are warning travellers to be cautious, but not yet advising against travel. Read more: bbc.co.uk
