SAS sets limits: 3 drinks per passenger on EU flights

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is to introduce new guidelines to limit the number of alcoholic drinks passengers can consume on flights within the EU.

Customers travelling on any ticket will be limited to three alcoholic drinks per flight. The move comes after an increase in the number of incidents involving drunk passengers in 2014.

The airline stated that, while the new guidelines are not intended to constitute 'hard and fast rules', they are designed to help the cabin crew deal with those who appear to be too drunk. Read more:
