Super Bowl 50 is being staged in San Francisco next year, and city mayor Ed Lee says the homeless must leave the area before the festivities begin.
While summing up his plans for moving the homeless out of San Francisco, Lee said, ‘We’ll give you an alternative. We are always going to be supportive. But you are going to have to leave the streets.’ He says he hopes to have more homeless programmes and housing ready before the games begin.
