San Francisco landmark closed because of drone

Coit Tower, one of San Francisco’s top attractions thanks to its views across the city and the bay, was closed on Monday because of a drone. A commercial film crew was recording shots above the tower and surrounding park using the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) which meant that under federal rules the area had to be closed off. Complaints from locals and tourists meant that the film crew called off a second day of shooting and the tower and park are now open as normal. Read more:
