This new Air Europa partnership follows the launch of Ryanair’s connecting flight service via Rome Fiumicino last week. The second phase of the partnership will be launched later this year, and it will allow Ryanair customers to connect on to Air Europa long haul flights through Madrid.
The 20 new destinations are Boston, Miami, New York, Buenos Aires, Santa Cruz, Salvador, Sao Paulo, Bogota, Havana, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo, Guayaquil, San Pedro Sula, Tel Aviv, Cancun, Asuncion, Lima, San Juan, Montevideo and Caracas.
In even better news, more destinations could open up, as Ryanair is continuing its discussions with a number of other long-haul airlines on potential feed and connecting flight partnerships.
“This partnership with Ryanair gives us great satisfaction, and it puts us at the forefront of business and allows us to strengthen our competitiveness," said Globalia Group CEO, Javier Hidalgo. "With this agreement Air Europa doubles its connectivity with the European continent adding 53 European cities."
