Russia to launch another new low-cost airline

Russia’s national airline Aeroflot plans to launch its new budget carrier called Pobeda (Russian for ‘Victory’). The start of ticket sales is announced for the beginning of November and flights are planned for mid-November. Pobeda will operate flights to eight Russian cities, and reportedly not to Crimea. Aeroflot’s previous low-cost airline Dobrolyot was launched in June but suspended operations in August because of EU sanctions against Russia. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
