Russia suspends trains to Sofia and Budapest

Russian Railways have suspended train services between Moscow and Sofia (Bulgaria), as well as those between Moscow and Budapest (Hungary). Regular services from Moscow will be suspended from 12 December, and services to Moscow will stop from 14 December. According to the official statement, the reason is significant decrease in passenger numbers on these routes. Read more:
