Rome goes pop for thirsty tourists during Jubilee

One hundred high-tech water distributors are to be installed around Rome as part of the preparations for the Jubilee year, which is expected to bring millions of pilgrims to the Italian capital between December 2015 and November 2016.

The water machines, which are being installed and paid for by utilities company Acea, will dispense chilled still and sparkling water to thirsty tourists and pilgrims at busy sites around the capital. Read more:
