Romania will host a Dracula Festival in early May to coincide with the first European Fair of Castles, which aims to promote the historical monuments from all over Europe. The event will take place at the famous Corvin Castle in Hunedoara from 1 to 3 May. It will feature a medieval-style ball and tournament, film screenings and theatre and musical performances. So far 21 castles from Romania and other European countries are confirmed to be represented at the event, and the special guest will be the great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker (author of the novel Dracula), Dacre Stoker.
