Rodin bust stolen in Copenhagen art heist
Directors at the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek art museum in Copenhagen have confirmed that a bust by the French artist Auguste Rodin was stolen in broad daylight last month.
Two men walked into the museum on 16 July and made off with the 1863 piece 'The Man with the Broken Nose' in a robbery that took just 12 minutes to execute. It's understood that the thieves had visited previously, to loosen the base of the bust and to disable the alarm. Copenhagen Police are working in collaboration with Interpol and Europol to find the thieves. Read more: thelocal.dk
