Rice grown to classical music harvested in Taiwan

Experimental rice that has been grown next to broadcasts of classical music has been harvested in Taiwan. Grown as part of the ‘rice listening to music’ program, the crop came from a 3.2-hectare paddy next to which a music box played Mozart and Beethoven. The effects of the music on the rice are unknown, but proceeds from the 7000-bag yield will go towards promoting classical music in rural parts of Taiwan. Read more: wantchinatimes.com
