The first phase of the Strategic Rhino Translocation Programme in Kruger National Park has been successfully completed by South African National Parks (SANParks). Twenty-nine rhino have been moved out of remote poaching hotspots to areas within the park where additional deployments of resources and technology will provide a more secure environment. Other rhinos have been moved to other national parks and reserves where security will be provided. Read more: tourismupdate.co.za
