Rescue efforts continue as Java landslide toll reaches 61

Thousands have joined the search and rescue effort to find dozens of missing victims in the landslide that hit Jemblung hamlet in Banjarnegara regency in Central Java last Friday. Fifty-three houses, along with their occupants, were buried during the disaster. Local authorities are appealing for baby food, clothes, blankets and medicines for the survivors. Read more:
