Thousands have joined the search and rescue effort to find dozens of missing victims in the landslide that hit Jemblung hamlet in Banjarnegara regency in Central Java last Friday. Fifty-three houses, along with their occupants, were buried during the disaster. Local authorities are appealing for baby food, clothes, blankets and medicines for the survivors.
