Record numbers of visitors to Rocky Mountain National Park

Park officials have announced  that visits to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado have exceeded 3.2 million for the year, breaking all previous records. October visitations alone topped 305,651, a significant increase over the same month in previous years. Park administrators attribute the increase to mild weather, which allowed sections of the park to remain open for longer. Visitations are expected to continue to increase in the future. Read more:
