Abu Dhabi’s yearly cultural festival has begun, marked by a procession of sheikhs and other Emiratis between Al Manhal Palace and Qasr Al Hosn. The fort is 250 years old, making it Abu Dhabi’s oldest building and is the site of a range of cultural festivities over the next ten days. Workshops, performances and exhibitions relating to traditional Emirati culture will take place here through the festival. Read more and view the gallery here: the national.ae
