Qantas and American Airlines announce new service on Sydney-SF route

Australia and the US will enjoy new services on the Sydney to San Francisco route after an announcement from Qantas and American Airlines this week. The return of a direct flight to San Francisco from the east coast of Australia is thought to be driven by business travel particularly to Silicon Valley. However it comes at a cost to leisure travellers with a reduction in services between Los Angeles and Sydney and Melbourne. Read more: airlinereporter.com
