Prague Shakespeare Company to host sonnet slam
As part of PSC400, a year-long celebration of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, Prague Shakespeare Company is organising a Sonnet Open Mic Marathon at the city's Swan Divadelni Klub on 29 February.
The free event is open to all and will be organised like a poetry slam, with the aim of getting as many people as possible to grab a mic and read one of the Bard's 154 sonnets. With plenty of Czech beer flowing, the evening is going to be somewhat experimental, with Guy Roberts, the company's artistic director saying, "It's an adventure."
