Portugal sees five die from Legionnaire’s disease

The WHO have declared a ‘major public health emergency’ in Portugal after five people died from suspected Legionnaire’s disease and more than 300 cases of the illness have been reported. The cause of the outbreak is under investigation, but people in affected areas have been warned to avoid public showers and jacuzzis. Read more: nytimes.com
