Popular park reopens in true SF style

Most parks are opened by a local councillor cutting a ribbon to polite applause but the reopening of Dolores Park, one of San Francisco’s  most popular green spots, was celebrated in a suitably SF way with a Silent Disco yesterday. A year after it closed for renovations, visitors flocked to the park on Thursday to don wireless headphones and dance the day away without disturbing local residents. When silent discos aren’t taking place the revamped park offers the perfect break from sightseeing, with great views across the city and a friendly atmosphere. Read more: sanfrancisco.cbs.local.com
