Polish billionaire to fund new Warsaw museum

Grażyna Kulczyk, the richest woman in Poland and an avid collector of art, is to set up a new art museum in Warsaw.

Kulczyk will finance the construction of the exhibition space next to the Copernicus Science Centre, and will donate her personal collection of artworks, estimated to be worth up to €100million.

The Museum of Contemporary and Performance Arts in Warsaw has been earmarked to open on 18 November 2018, to mark the centenary of Polish independence.
