Police clash with stone-throwing, anti-austerity protesters in Brussels

A largely peaceful anti-austerity march by protesters has ended in violent clashes with police in Brussels. Tear gas and water cannons were used against protesters after several vehicles were set alight and protesters threw stones and flares at police. The Thursday march was one of the biggest labour demonstrations in the country since World War II. Read more: bbcnews.co.uk
