Queens to get a new three-mile linear park

Plans have been released to turn an abandoned Queens, New York City, track into a three and a half mile linear park. The space, to be called the QueensWay, will be the borough's version of the popular High Line park in Manhattan, only twice as long and seven times the acreage. The plan includes a bicycle trail, an arts hub and an outdoor classroom space. Read more: nytimes.com
