Pizzeria on a London bus is next stop for diners

Visitors and locals alike are being drawn to a mobile pizzeria housed in one of London’s iconic red double-decker buses – complete with an on-board wood-fired oven.

Aptly called ‘The Crust Conductor’, the freshly made pizzas in the mobile pizzeria could soon be coming to a stop near you replete with its cocktail bar to give the feeling of a proper dining out experience.

The New York Daily News reports on the marriage of a quintessential London Transport background with a Big Apple staple eating-out business with a sense of slight bewilderment.

Currently, the Crust conductor is located beside the Peckham Rye Railway Station and will stay there at the Brick Brewery until April.

So how does the eating out on four wheels even work? Guests go up to the upper level where they tuck into whatever they have ordered off the menu. Main course are prices at  around £8 ($12).

There is also an in-house DJ who spins the discs in the lower cocktail bar to get diners in the mood to have a good time.
