A passenger on the Lion Air flight complained to the transport ministry about improper behaviour, claiming the co-pilot of the plane offered a divorced flight attendant to the passengers to make up for the delay, reports AFP. He also claimed there were loud moaning sounds from the cockpit and questioned the sobriety of the co-pilot.

Lion Air has launched an internal inquiry, according to the Jakarta Post, has grounded the pilot for violating the announcement procedure.

Officials with the airline have said the co-pilot was not intoxicated and the moaning sounds were just due to the co-pilot talking to close to the microphone.
