Philippines traffic enforcers to be issued adult diapers for papal visit

Traffic officers in Manila will be required to don adult diapers while on duty during Pope Francis’ visit to the city next week. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman said the idea will be tested prior to the pope’s arrival, on officers on duty for the Black Nazarene procession on Friday. He also encouraged priests, nuns, the elderly, and anyone else who will have to wait for hours to see the pope without easy access to portable toilets, to consider wearing diapers.
