Paris crowns world champion chocolate maker
French chef Vincent Vallee has been named the world’s champion chocolate maker after beating top chocolatiers at the Salon du Chocolat trade fair in Paris.
It’s the first time a French chef has won the competition. The competition was held over three days where 20 top chocolatiers from around the world battled it out for the crown. Vincent took out the prize with his chocolate sculptures including one of a birdcage and another of a woman’s body with a cat’s head. Read more: thelocal.fr
