Paper lanterns light up Nevada sky over Moapa River Indian Reservation
Thousands of paper lanterns took to the sky over the Moapa River Indian Reservation on Saturday.
Over 10,000 people took part in the event, which was held 35 miles northeast of Las Vegas. Twenty thousand biodegradable paper lanterns were released into the air, some with prayers and messages written onto them. The event closed with a fireworks show.
