Panamanians gather for annual Feria del Mar festival

From 14 September  to 20 September, thousands of Panamanians and tourists alike will gather at Bocas del Toro, Panama, to celebrate the country’s Caribbean culture at the annual Feria del Mar.

Activities include motorboat and rowboat races, musical and artistic performances from folkloric troupes and local bands, and a fishing tournament, the highlight of the fair during which participants have been known to haul in catches the size of grown men.
