Pakistan International Airlines strike enters third day
More than 150 flights have been cancelled in Pakistan in the last three days as part of a massive employee strike against government plans to privatise the ailing national airline, Pakistan International Airlines.
The strike has cost the airline an estimated 1.8 billion rupees ($170 million) so far, with no end in sight to the industrial action. The unrest has also had tragic consequences, with two deaths as police tried to put down a demonstration in Karachi on .
