Pakistan air crew sacked for stealing phones

Two flight stewards for Pakistan International Airlines, the struggling national carrier or Pakistan, have been sacked after they were caught at London’s Heathrow Airport with a cache of stolen mobile phones.

Full details have not been released, so it is not clear if the phones were stolen from passengers during flights, or if the stolen phones were being transported on behalf of criminals within Pakistan to be sold on the black market in the UK. Read more:
