Orlando: America's record breaking city with 62 million visitors

The Orlando tourism board has announced their visitor numbers for 2014, and they are record breaking.

Over 62 million people came to Orlando in 2014 which is the first time a US destination has broken the 60 million mark. Visit Orlando President George Aguel credits the boom with investment in the city’s famous theme parks, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley area which opened in Universal Orlando in 2014 and Walt Disney World’s new area New Fantasyland.
