North Korea ski tours for foreign visitors to launch this month

North Korea has announced it will launch a series of new ski tours aimed at foreign visitors.

The ‘large-scale’ tour packages will begin operation later in November, taking visitors to the new Masik-Ryong ski resort, which opened last year in the eastern part of the country. South Korea already enjoys a growing ski and snowboard trade, and it is thought that North Korea hopes to use the new tours to cash in on its cold, snowy winters. Read more: koreaherald.com
