New Chinese cruise terminal to accommodate world’s largest ships
A new cruise terminal will be built in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, it has been announced. A partnership between Hong Kong cruise company Dream Cruises and a local investment management company will see the development of Taizi Bay into a major cruise port.
When completed this November, the terminal will be the first in China to be able to accommodate the world’s largest ships, including Royal Caribbean’s ‘Oasis of the Seas’, which can hold up to 5400 people.
