Nepal appeals to foreign governments to relax travel advisories
The government of Nepal has appealed to foreign governments to revise their travel advisories for Nepal following the deadly earthquakes on 25 April and 12 May.
The governments of the USA, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand have reduced the level of the travel advisory for their nationals, but many other countries still warn against all travel to Nepal, despite most areas of the country now being safe for travel. People working in tourism in areas that were not affected by the disaster face a dire 2015 autumn season as bookings have plummeted by up to 80%. Read more: business-standard.stories
