Have a rejuvenating snooze in the city that never sleeps at Nap York
You’ve just stepped off a long-haul flight in New York City, exhausted, but can’t check into your hotel for another few hours. What do you do? If only there were a serene space dedicated to physical and mental wellbeing where you could rest and recuperate for a short time. That’s exactly the premise behind Nap York, a new relaxation facility that has just opened its doors to the public in Manhattan.
Describing itself as “a tranquil oasis”, Nap York operates a 24/7 service that allows visitors to store their luggage and rest in comfortable and spacious state-of-the-art pods, as well as enjoy healthy juices and treats. Occupying four floors, each with lounges and work amenities, it includes single occupancy pods specially designed for restful sleep that come complete with charging stations and soundproof curtains. On the third floor, guests can choose from other relaxation option, such as comfortable egg chairs, quiet corners for meditation, and a yoga studio.
“Providing New Yorkers with a quiet space and healthy environment to unwind is extremely important to our team. Whether they’re a passenger dealing with a layover or a local employee in need of a lunch break, we hope all our guests can find solitude at Nap York; a place where they can concentrate deliberately on themselves and accomplish whatever it is they need to accomplish,” said Stacy Veloric, Head of Marketing at Nap York.
Nap York also includes a special productivity floor with moveable desks and adjustable lights, as well as meeting spaces, while the ground floor has a café. Prices start at $10 for 30 minutes, with three-hour bookings coming with a complimentary hot towel, charcoal-filtered water, fresh linens and toothbrush.
