Namibia to host one of the world’s toughest endurance races

Namibia has been chosen to host the challenging Sahara Race, which will take place from 1-7 May in the country’s Skeleton Coast National Park.

The decision was made to move the race from northern Africa to Namibia’s skeleton coast – which has a similar landscape to the Sahara – due to growing instability and unrest in the region. Part of the 4Deserts Race Series, the Sahara Race is an endurance foot-race covering a gruelling 250km of inhospitable climates and rugged landscapes.
