The Greek Museum of Underwater Antiquities is set to open in Greece’s main port, Piraeus (10km southwest of central Athens). It will occupy the industrial Silo building and house 2000 antiquities found at the bottom of the Greek seas, including statues, weapons, jewelry, maps and more. There are also plans to display entire shipwreck hulls and to turn an area of the museum into a diving site, so that the visitors can take lessons and dive underwater to explore the antiquities.
